I was pleased to contribute to the publication of the KISS-POT method, a practical approach developed to optimise the treatment of selected coronary bifurcation lesions.
Coronary bifurcation procedures are among the most technically challenging interventions in cardiology. The KISS-POT technique was developed to simplify procedural steps while maintaining precise stent expansion and preserving blood flow to both the main vessel and side branch.
Developing and evaluating new procedural techniques is an important part of my clinical practice. Working with colleagues to refine contemporary approaches to complex coronary intervention helps improve procedural consistency and contributes to the ongoing advancement of patient care.
