Invited Speaker – ANZET 2026

Dr Ada was invited faculty and speaker at ANZET 2026, the major interventional cardiology meeting in Australia and New Zealand, held at the International Convention Centre Sydney.

As part of the Coronary Symposium, he presented “Drug-Coated Balloons – Tips and Tricks for Optimal Results,” focusing on practical approaches to lesion preparation, vessel assessment and achieving optimal results with drug-coated balloon coronary intervention.

He also presented “Paclitaxel for Drug-Coated Balloon Coronary Angioplasty,” examining the pharmacology and evidence supporting paclitaxel-based drug-coated balloon therapy and its application in contemporary coronary intervention.

Dr Ada was also the faculty for the dedicated hands-on IVUS workshop, providing practical training to cardiologists in the use of intravascular ultrasound for coronary intervention. The workshop focused on translating IVUS imaging into procedural decision-making, including vessel assessment, device sizing and optimisation of coronary intervention.

His involvement across the scientific program and practical workshops at ANZET 2026 reflected his particular interests in drug-coated balloon angioplasty, intravascular imaging and complex coronary intervention, as well as his ongoing role in interventional cardiology education.
